Meet Karen

I’m a Cypress, Texas native, and my real estate journey is deeply rooted in the place I’ve always called home. I graduated from Cy-Fair High School, where I learned early on the value of discipline, consistency, and hard work. But long before real estate ever became my career, those lessons were being shaped in two very different worlds that raised me at the same time—wrestling and life around horses.

Growing up wrestling taught me how to be strategic, focused, and tough. It taught me how to read a situation quickly, when to push forward aggressively, and when to hold back and wait for the right moment.

At the same time, I grew up in a home behind horse stables. My early mornings and afternoons often included cleaning stalls and helping with horse lessons, which taught me responsibility, work ethic, and humility from a young age. Being around that environment taught me that nothing is handed to you—you have to earn it, take care of the details, and show up even when it’s hard.

One of the most meaningful parts of my childhood was going to home showings with my father and his buyers. Sitting in those homes as a kid gave me an early understanding of how emotional and important the process of buying a home really is. Even then, I was learning that a house isn’t just walls and a roof—it’s where people picture their future, raise their families, and build their lives.

Those experiences shaped how I show up today in real estate more than anything else ever has.

I also grew up watching my aunt and uncle develop neighborhoods in the Cypress area. I didn’t fully understand it at the time, but I always admired how they could take land and turn it into something meaningful—places where families would build their lives. Watching them operate gave me a deep respect for the industry early on. I saw them as a real force in the community, and it planted a seed in me that real estate wasn’t just about houses—it was about impact, legacy, and creating spaces where people belong.

Now, that seed has fully grown into my career.

Today, I’m a real estate agent serving the same areas I grew up in and love—helping families buy and sell homes in communities that shaped me. I don’t take lightly what it means to guide someone through such a major life decision. I approach every client with that same mindset I learned growing up: read the situation, stay calm, move with purpose, and always protect the people I’m working for.

On a personal level, I’m also a wife and a mom. My husband works for the airlines, and together we’re raising three young girls. Life is full, busy, and beautifully chaotic, but it keeps me grounded in why I do what I do. I understand firsthand what families are looking for in a home—because I’m living it every day too. Space, safety, community, and a place where memories can actually be made.

Real estate, for me, is not just a career. It’s a combination of everything that shaped me—where I came from in Cypress, the lessons from sports and hard work, the early exposure to homes through my father, the influence of family in development, and now the responsibility of building a life for my own family.

It’s personal. It’s purpose-driven. And it’s something I truly love because I get to help other families find the same feeling I’ve always known growing up—home.
