Karen, a native Houstonian, and her family have lived in Cypress since 1995. Karen's family had just moved into their second home in Fairfield, and struck up a friendship with a newly married couple that moved in across the street, Clint & Amy Nabors. She had chosen to leave her corporate Human Resources career to stay at home to be there for her young children and all their activities, when Amy mentioned Clint needed some help at the office. Not wanting to commit to a full-time position, Karen started assisting Clint in his real estate business. That business quickly grew and the rest is history, as they say, as Karen has been with the team since its inception in 2009, and is currently the Team Manager for the Neighbors Team.

Karen serves as the hub that makes the team function smoothly and efficiently in the office. She has been a licensed agent since 2013, and with her 10-year background in Human Resources with Enron Corporation and 3 years in Property Management with an area real estate developer, those experiences have enabled her to interact with clients in a professional, yet congenial manner. Although she manages things in the office, she still takes the time to work with her own clients and help them find a place to call HOME!

When Karen is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dale of over 30 years, dreaming of interior decorating and reading. She has two grown children, both Cypress Ranch graduates, Ashley, an escrow officer in Greater Houston and Mason, a graduate of Texas A&M University is a Project Manager at a commercial construction company in Houston. Real Estate seems to run in the family with this team!
