Meet Ryan

Ryan McLennan's passion for the entrepreneurial side of real estate led him to earn his license in 2017 after attending Texas A&M University. In 2018, he decided to join the Ellis-Nabors Team and from the start became and integral part of the close-knit team, which prides itself on providing "Superior Service" and exceeding client expectations. Since then, Ryan has advanced in his career, earning several professional designations, including the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Certified New Home Specialist (CNHS), and Residential Construction Certified (RCC).

In 2022, Ryan struck out on his own to further develop his skills and expand his knowledge. This experience only enhanced his abilities, making him the ideal candidate for Clint Nabors, co-founder of the Ellis-Nabors Team, to collaborate with in 2025 to rebrand the team as the Neighbors Team following the retirement of Clint's father-in-law, Mark Ellis. The rebranding reflects a fresh direction while maintaining the team's dedication to excellence. As Team Lead, Ryan is supported by Karen Zientek, Team Manager and licensed associate, along with agents Wanda Abel, Kristy Allen and Heather Jones.

A lifelong Houstonian, Ryan is intimately familiar with the city and its neighborhoods. Having grown up in The Woodlands and later moving to Cypress, he also has deep roots in the Galleria/Tanglewood area, offering clients valuable insight into the diverse Houston market. His dedication to honesty, trustworthiness, and client-focused service stems from the example set by his family, particularly his grandparents, who always prioritized caring for others. Ryan understands that buying a home is a significant life decision and is committed to making the process smooth, enjoyable, and rewarding for every client.

Outside of real estate, Ryan stays active combining his passion for running and sports along with his passion for giving back. Ryan leads a local non-profit Run Club, which meets weekly in the Heights area. He actively participates as a volunteer and runner for the Houston Chapter of Ainsley's Angels of America, a national organization focused on helping individuals of all different abilities experience the joy of racing. Additionally, he volunteers as a coach with the Miracle League, an adaptive sports program through the YMCA, and most recently raised funds for Best Buddies as part of his journey to running the Chicago Marathon.
